Dr. Arturo P. Pingoy Medical Center has achieved another milestone in the Field of Quality and Excellence. They have stepped up once again and became the center of quality in hospital services in South Cotabato that gives more than just the best for the customers and patients.
From an ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Accredited Medical Facility, they have fulfilled what they always believe that Excellence is a continual process and by that, they have reached their goal; to be an ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, the updated version, and ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System.
ISO 9001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS). They have successfully transitioned their old QMS to its latest version, ISO 9001:2015. More to that, they have applied for ISO 14001 which is the international standard that specifies requirements for an effective environmental management system (EMS) or ISO 14001:2015 and Integrated it to the 9001 Standard to maximize its organizational goal.
They had their 3 – day external audit by the TUV Rheinland and were spearheaded by their Lead Auditor, Ms. Minda Villapando, last December 14 – 16, 2016 and confidently passed.
The realization of this was from the Quality Assurance Officer and the Management Representative, Mr. Moses B. Billanes, PTRP, RPT, MSHSM and the Top Management with the help of Department Heads and all the employees that offered more than enough to be what they are today.
Because excellence never stops in DAPPMC, they are committed to a continual improvement of their Quality and Environmental System to protect the environment and provide excellent and safe medical services.
